Stephanie Alarcon, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with a passion for general and surgical dermatology, including the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of conditions such as acne, skin cancer, eczema, psoriasis, and more. She enjoys helping her patients look and feel their very best. Her formal education and training include:
- University of Texas at El Paso (El Paso, TX) – BS, Biomedical Concentration
- University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley (Edinburg, TX) – MPAS, Physician Assistant Studies
In addition to dermatology, Stephanie’s clinical experience includes internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, and general surgery, to name a few. During her training, Stephanie actively participated in undergraduate research focused on acute T-cell lymphoma and volunteered her time at the University of Texas at Rio Grande by providing middle school sports physicals. She is a fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers.
In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys walking her dogs, painting, reading, and spending time with family.
